Transpersonal Learning: SEL, Next Generation
Social-emotional learning (SEL) has helped bring emotional awareness and relationship skills into mainstream education. At WyldHeart, we believe the next evolution of learning is transpersonal.
Transpersonal refers to the deeper dimensions of human experience and to our inherent connection with each other, the natural world, and the greater web of life.
The WyldHeart model of transpersonal learning is a relational approach for children and adults that expands social-emotional learning to encompass mind-heart-spirit learning. Our framework centers cultivation of transpersonal capacities that allow for exploration of belonging, purpose, identity, and our relationship with the entire living world.
We prioritize context-based education, honoring that the climate in which we learn is as important as what we learn. Our growth depends not only on skill-building, but on the quality of the environments and relationships that hold us while we learn. The right relational conditions make optimal learning possible for people of any age.
We believe that incorporating mind, heart, and spirit in spaces for learning, working, and caretaking supports both children and adults to truly flourish—to feel more connected, compassionate, curious, and completely who they are.

Context-Based, Relational Learning
At WyldHeart we deeply believe in the importance of emotionally safe learning environments, so all of our programs are rooted in the psychology and neuroscience of how security allows humans to learn, create, express, and truly thrive. All of our facilitators are trained in cultivating learning cultures that are not only inclusive, but also emotionally attuned and restorative.
Supporting the Entire Community Ecosystem
A fully supported human ecosystem is the pillar of any healthy village. Those in positions of stewardship and caretaking must be supported to create safe space for themselves so they can create safe space for others. Transpersonal learning and development help both children and adults access deeper parts of themselves, and participate in fostering a supportive community for all.
